HELP / PRESETS

Save Complete Chain presets

Save all five sections as one chain, find it by amp channel, import one, and where the files live.

A chain preset holds all five sections at once: Lifeblood, Monolith, Revenant, Spectre and Aftermath.

The Complete Chain toolbar: CHAIN PRESET / ALL FIVE PLUGINS menu with SAVE and FOOTSWITCH beside it and BYPASS ALL on the right; under the tabs, the Monolith section header with its own PRESET menu and SAVE
TOP: THE CHAIN PRESET / BELOW: ONE SECTION’S PRESET
  1. 01

    Dial it in

Set every section the way you want it, on the amp channel you want it filed under.

  2. 02

    Press SAVE

Press SAVE next to the CHAIN PRESET menu at the top, not the one in a section header.

  3. 03

    Name it

Type a name and save. If you already have a chain with that name, you are asked whether to replace it.

Finding it again

The CHAIN PRESET menu groups chains by Monolith’s channel: CH1 - Clean, CH1.5 - Blues, CH2 - Heavy and CH3 - Metal. Each has the factory chains, then Your presets. Your chain goes under the channel Monolith was on when you saved it.

Saving a chain also files each section’s settings, under the same name, in that plugin’s own preset list. So the Monolith from your chain is there in Monolith on its own too.

Import, rename, delete, back up

Use Import complete chain… at the bottom of the menu to add a .jpchain file someone sent you. To rename or delete, choose Open preset library and rename or delete the file. Chains are saved in Documents/JediPalm/Complete Chain on Mac and Windows; copy that folder to back them up.
